Writing and sports broadcasting are two labors of love for me. I hope this blog can convey both of those loves.

Oh, as for me, my name is Derek Jones. When I’m not watching sports or broadcasting it, I’m the Station Manager at Rowan University’s campus radio station – Rowan Radio 89.7 WGLS-FM.

Also, I am the play-by-play announcer for Princeton University Men’s Basketball on radio and TV. Throughout college basketball season, I serve as a play-by-play announcer for ESPN’s family of networks.

Before basketball season rolls around, I’m the radio play-by-play announcer for Rowan University Football.
